The Boerne Public Library Foundation believes that all people have a right to cultivate their individual interests in lifelong learning and in cultural and enrichment opportunities.  We advocate throughout the community for the continued development of a vibrant library that provides programming and educational opportunities specific to the interests of those who live, work and regularly visit our community.  We are dedicated to ensuring a rich library environment and a strong private-public partnership to build on our downtown intellectual and cultural gathering spot.  We are grateful to our benefactors for the opportunities they provide in sharing our mission.

On June 4, 2011, the new Patrick Heath Public Library opens   As part of the grand opening events, the Boerne Public Library Foundation is hosting a gala on Friday, June 3, to highlight both our new, environmentally friendly, state of the art library and the amazing work that happens inside each and every day.  Tickets are $100 and can be purchased through the Foundation by calling 830.249.3053.  More information is available at www.boernelibraryfoundation.org.
